Batting against Spin in Online Matches- problems for a newbie

Hi,everyone....

I'm relatively new to the game. Could have the game in February this year only. Till now, I was playing career only, as a no.3 batsman, in Pro level. Recently I started playing online....The problem I'm facing is that when I play a casual match offline,at veteran difficulty,I usually play spin quite reasonably well...scoring at least 6-9 per over against any kind of spinner, with 1-2 4's and 1-s and 2-s. But while playing online, I cannot even connect the bat with the ball against almost every spinner. I made a team with only spinners as bowlers and increased their skills to max, and practiced against them in T10 and T20 -s. Again I scored well against them, though i lost a few wickets also. Then, I tried playing online again, and lost 4 wickets in a single over for 0 run....and the situation is same till now. Against pacers,in first 2-3 overs, I'm scoring around 10 runs per over, and then the spinners come,and I'm losing the wickets like anything!

Now, the thing I'm noticing is that almost every online player I've played against till now, are bowling spin balls in a painfully slow speed......and while playing them either I'm early and get LBW or Bowled or too late and getting out the same way. So,please help me and suggest a way to play these spin deliveries......

Play the spin deliveries late - much later than you would in offline gameplay. It's all about getting the timing right and once you get the hang of it things would get easier. But it's good to finally get a cricket game where spinners are actually wkt takers and have an impact. I still remember the AC09 online days where you used to pack your team with fast bowlers as spinners would go for 6s or 4s every delivery. Kudos to Big Ant team for the same

One more thing to consider is that online will be much more difficult than offline as you have a human opponent on the other end who will try to find your weakness. And once they find your weak spot - bet it pacers, medium bowlers or spinners - they will attack your weakness till you get better. I guess that's why you want to play online as the AI doesn't pose any major challenge or is way too predictable, whereas in online gameplay you have a brand new AI every match.

Absolutely right @cricket_online...the charm of online play is the challenge to face different opponents in very match...I'll try to play spin late,and find out the timing,as you advised. Will post update here later.

Here is a tip which will solve the problem,play spin in pro mode,try it it works.Change cameras and uncheck inverted batting in between overs.Use broacast cam for pacers though.

Thanks for the tips...definitely going to try this....meanwhile against pace I bat on the Far Batsman cam. Seems to work for me against pace. Problem is the spin.
