Lol, I want to see India win but if someone says they want someone else want to win I won't be calling them shameless. I am sure they all like the way Indian players are playing but the way BCCI has been acting over will definitely leave any good performance behind. It's just because you aren't under the receiving end of this you can be callously calling others shameful but if you were the one whose team would have gotten the short stick every time you will be annoyed by the team and will be ignoring their performance.

Also the answer to anyone complaining is bring the money India brings to ICC and you will see how strong ICC can be.

Having said that BCCI and PCB agreed on this, this will be the same thing happening IF Pakistan reaches finals and BCCI is hosting it so whats the tweaking big deal about it? PCB got the fair deal where they wont have to play in India going forward and they will play all their matches including semis and finals outside of India.

Grow up and move on! This is not causing Cricket to die, the countless meaningless T20 leagues, the dearth of talent in a lot of countries and countries not able to fund themselves is what is causing this. Australia and England are equal bully, when did England last play Zimbabwe? Why the hypocrisy from Australia to play Afghanistan in ICC tournament but not play them in limited formats? THIS IS WHAT IS KILLING CRICKET.

Why are 3 test playing nations not included in the World Test Championship in Ireland, Afghanistan and Zimbabwe? WHY IS THERE NO MORE path to test status?

Why an ICC tournament every single year.. instead of blaming 1 organization go blame everyone around it. Cricket in general is a dying sport and if India, Pakistan, Bangladesh fans really get turned off, this sport will truly wont survive AT ALL!

All this talk about the Indian advantage is something I’ve posted on this board years ago, perhaps more than a decade.

I’m glad others are finally understanding how deep India are in running cricket. Win or loss, champions or not they are underserving of such, and most sensible fans of cricket will agree with this.

On a lighter note Virat is possibly the best ODI batsman of all time, right up there with Viv, absolutely no player comes close to these two.

Pakistan players and fans both national and international have been treated like garbage over the last 2 decades, primarily due to India.

I’ve never been a fan of having Bangladesh handed test status, they been a puppet to India for years. Same for Sri Lanka and Murali chucked through his career, when an umpire finally grew a pair and called him out he was met with racist abuse.

Typical Indian fan always playing the victim when in fact you all are the villains of the cricketing world. Bro I love you and respect you and I do get your point about the ICC and PCB agreeing to let India stay in Dubai, but the fact is they had no choice cuz this is what the BCCI wanted.

From my perspective bro I rarely follow any cricket now and anytime my heart leads me to open Cricinfo and see ‘whats the latest’ all I see are articles catering to the crazed Indian fans.

Firstly, we live in 2025, so it would be good if people learned to think critically instead of swallowing whatever their governments or media says. Politicians lie for their own benefit. Especially in India, i see Pakistan being an issue in most elections, while India is barely mentioned in Pakistani elections.
India doesn’t have clean hands, it has funded terrorist activities in Balochistan too, which have killed hundreds of people. Far more people have died in Pakistan due to terrorism than in India. Both countries declared a ceasefire on such activities in 2021.
Since then, the BCCI’s position towards Pakistan has only served the BJP’s purpose, to use hatred towards Pakistan to project strength towards its voters. With the Indian Home Minister’s son heading the BCCI and now ICC, it’s obviously an easier task. There is no legitimate reason or justification.
Stop being cucks towards authority figures and being beholden to emotions, and think for yourselves. Goes for Pakistanis too.

Let me remind you that since the BJP took a hard line stance, terrorism activities in India have gone down. All across- this includes the Pakistan border, BD border, Nagaland and South India with the LTTE remnants. The BJP doesn't continually push hatred towards Pakistan, as I mentioned previously. As for the Home Minister's son being in a position of power- see these things happen. I am sure ,there might be influential people in Pakistan as well who might be sitting within the PCB.

Lastly, can either of admins help set up a separate India v Pakistan rant thread? Put it in the General Discussion section- cause it is really getting out of hand, each and every tournament.

If India didn’t wanted to travel to Pakistan for this tournament, then they should just boycott the tournament, and not be given an alternative venue to play.
