Rashid Khan in T20s. Ravichandran Ashwin in Tests. I will think about ODI cricket before commenting further.

Murali probably is the undisputed king in ODIs. Over 530 wickets with an average of just around 23. No mean feat to achieve. Nobody is coming close to the number of wickets he got.

Ravichanrdran Ashwin, without a doubt.

Ash has gotten into the team based on his stellar performances. There seems to be lot of debate between Ash and Jadeja. Remember that Jadeja was continually backed by his skippers and hence had been pushed into the side for the better part of the decade. Ash, didn;t have to do so.

Chahal is nothing without Dhoni. So, Dhoni is the best spinner of the decade.
He hasn't played much games in the subcontinent since 2019 WC, so I won't be surprised that he isn't as effective. He numbers of most probably deflated because of 2020 NZ tour & 2020-21 Australia tour where there were dead tracks which offered nothing to the bowlers. You must look at the way he bowled in Auckland in 2020.

His strike rate was always better as compared to Ashwin. You can go back to 2013 BGT and see the way he has bowled in that series. Also in 2015-16 he performed better than Ashwin for most part. This isn't to say he was better than Ashwin. But to say that he succeeded only because of backing of Captain is a bit of of an insult to his quality as an all-rounder. We can also say that Bhajji was in the Indian team because he was continually backed by Dravid/Kumble/Dhoni. Can we?

In Bhajji's case, there was no clear competitor. Sarandeep Singh failed in the given chances. The other thing with Bhajji being that he could bat a bit.

My grouse with Jadeja being that he is touted as an AR- which he isn't. He can neither bat, nor bowl. A couple of random performances in a losing cause has somehow helped him cement his position in the side. Jadeja has once again stuck to his 'containing methodology' which was employed widely by MSD. Ashwin though, has evolved into a smarter bowler and as a batter, I would pick him ahead of Jadeja anyday.
