Righto, we've had a Pre-T20 draft in the not too distant past here where we got to see several players who could have cracked the format if it had been around during their time. But as far as I know, we're yet to have one for the ODI format which requires a completely different skillset and one where you can't simply go boom boom from ball one. I started the Best to Never Play Tests draft here previously, so I suppose it's only fitting if I start the Best to Never Play ODIs as well.
Basically, any player who has played an official FC/List-A/T20/Test/T20I/unofficial international match after Test cricket's inception in 1877, and has not appeared in a single ODI throughout his career is valid for selection. Which sadly rules out the likes of Clive Rice, Jimmy Cook, Garry Sobers etc, but there's plenty of fish in the sea..
