Bowling

I purchased the game on Saturday and have started by playing the world series with England.
I am playing Australia at present and was all out for 250.

My problem is that I have just bowled Australia out for 940!! With Ponting top scoring with 265!!

I have read the previous advice given on this messageboard and have persevered with line and length with my seamers, however, I am finding the all important breakthroughs very difficult! I get swing and I can beat the bat with the seam all day, unfortunately they never get the edge.

Eventually 8 of my wickets were bowled and the other 2 were LBW.

What am I doing wrong - I am on Village mode as well!

Thats a pity.

Try moving the ball marker every now and then. Or try late swing with variation of pace. And be ready for your catches. This should work.

Try test

The key to edges, is late swing. Just tap the swing button as late as you can. Also bowl inswinging/outswinging yorkers when the condifence is low on the batsmen. Bowl bouncers to get the condfidence low.

I think I am heading OP's way, I can bowl maidens on and on and the CPU will score a cheap boundary once in a while and keep the score moving, other than that no luck getting wickets with pace bowlers or spinners. Bowling tight or random with swing and still no luck.

wooooooooooow 940!! yeh i agree with Willow Genius and themuel1, try the late swing button, that should work

i just finished bowling out india for 120 on hard mode in a test match

damian martyn took 5 wickets cos i gave him a long spell, trying to give india a chance.

aint 2 happy
