thought it would be an interesting exercise to see what people have on their Bucket Lists.

For those who don't know, a Bucket List is a collection of events/places/things you would like to do/visit before you die.

I'll start us off (in no particular order)

1) Ashes Test at Lord's
2) Watch a Test match in every country (except Pakistan)
3) Great Wall of China
4) Taj Mahal (done)
5) Grand Canyon (done)
6) Visit the beaches of Normandy/ other WWII landmarks in Europe
7) Visit Auschwitz
8) Get my private pilots license
9) Have 2 children (1 biological, 1 adopted)
10) Visit Mohenjo Daro
11) Visit Machu Picchu
12) Pyramids of Egypt
13) Visit Israel
14) Sites of the American Revolution (done)
15) Buckingham Palace (done)
16) Palace of Versailles
17) Own a 1967 Ford Mustang
18) Learn to play Nocturne in C Sharp Minor (Chopin) on piano
19) Vote for a non-white person in a Presidential election (done)
20) Retire in a small village in England or large ranch in Texas

1) Go to every single World Cup from here on out. Hopefully I should be able to do this - I have plane and match tickets for the India vs WI game booked (thank god for frequent flier miles!!!) and If I don't have college interviews I WILL BE THERE. I graduate from college in 2015 and am planning to do some study abroad or something in Australia so I can go to every WC game possible.

2) watch test match in Chepauk, Eden Gardens, Bangalore, Wankhede.
3) At least visit lords, hopefully watch a test there.
4) Go to Africa. Really eager to visit SA and Egypt
5) Have a theater in my house when I grow up. That is just boss
6) Own a Beamer/Mercedez/Audi some sweet luxury car
7) Machu Pichu sounds cool.
8) Go to US Open and watch Andy Roddick play
9) Volunteer in a REALLY deprived country. India was great but I want to work in a place where I have NO ties, is more impoverished, etc. I'm thinking Ghana. I reckon' i'll do this in College at some point as well
10) Go backpacking across Europe.
11) ULTIMATE GOAL IN LIFE: Own/become some sort of big shareholder in a cricket team. Even if it is a small one, like one of those KPL teams. That would be so awesome. Or maybe be the entrepreneur to start that type of format in the US? ;)
12) Retire and follow the Indian cricket team around. Live in Chennai/Bangalore but have a house in Florida/Cali/NY or something. Amazing

Probably won't happen tho.

Surprisingly short. I can probably think of more at a later time

Visit Auschwitz

Been for a History Trip. Very sobering place it is and well worth a visit.

Also one of the most surreal and hilarious things happened while I was there. One of my friends was going around taking pictures willy nilly and walked off the cleared path. (We went in the middle of a Blizzard -10 outside during the day). As he did it quickly came apparent that there were ditches either side of us that had filled in with snow over the past days as he suddenly dropped leaving only his head, shoulders, the upper reaches of his chest and arms visible. Then ensued a quick struggle to get him out as we sure as hell didn't want to look like we were taking the piss in Auschwitz of all places.

On reflection the most funny thing I've ever seen; at the time a disaster.

Just to be proud of what I've done. Obviously the ultimate dream would be to become a professional sports player in what ever sport.

Mine (no particular order though):
1) Watch a match at Adelaide oval (Hill)
2) Visit Taj Mahal (Done)
3) See a cricket match (no format restriction) at each and every Test playing country.
4) See atleast one World Cup final
5) Go to Birla Mandir and Salarjung Museum at Hyderabad
6) Talk with Anil Kumble (Done)
7) Go to a test match (will be done on November 12th)

1) to be able to look back on my life and say I lived it how I wanted to

Just to be proud of what I've done.

Meh

Not really the purpose of this exercise. Of course everyone wants to share those experiences.

I was more wondering what places you would like to visit or things you would like to do. Compare lists and see if I want to add on to mine etc etc.

This sounds a bit shallow and horrid but the day I get my inheritance I will quit my job and go on a 2 year world trip and cross off my list.

Mark added 1 Minutes and 52 Seconds later...

9) Get a few cricket based articles published in a newspaper or website, and/or have a blog on Cricinfo.

So far that's all I've got. Many of them may not come true, but no harm in dreaming right?

Well no harm in dreaming but dreaming is not the purpose of this exercise.

This is supposed to be real attainable goals, half of your list are pipe dreams, no offense.

In term of attainable goals I don't have much at the moment. Might as well live trying to accomplish these pipe dreams.

Bungee Jumping and Sky diving sound fun, I'd save them for the very end though incase something goes wrong :p
