C09 HELP: Having trouble running the game? Read here first

hey guys can i play ashes09 in windows7

Yes. You'll need the appropiate minimum specs on your PC to run it as per.

hi guys

i have i5,2.4Mhz ,4 Gb ram, 1 GB nvidia gt 252m,Win 7
can i play this game on my laptop
plz help me i wont play this game

Yes.

plzz tell me how to run ashes cricket 2009 in safe mode.............. run ashes cricket 2009 in safe mode is not appearing in start menu

Not sure why you're looking for "safe mode" in the start menu?

Go to where the game is installed, might be somewhere like:
Code:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Codemasters\Ashes Cricket 2009

...then right-click on the application .exe file and select "run as administrator" and go from there. Not sure why you're running it in safemode though, but whatever.

it keeps freezing???

Generally means one of two things

  • Your Roster is corrupted
  • One of your mods was installed incorrectly and corrupted

...more often than not, it's the roster. I would suggest reverting to a back-up of your roster or (unfortunately) deleting the roster file and starting from scratch if you don't have a back-up.

Keeping a back-up of the USER and main async.big.32 files is really important if you're modding C09 so you don't lose everything. Saves a lot of time and hassle.

Its not that i dont think because it was doing it before i installed anything?

No idea then. Reinstall the game.

Then you're using a hacked/illegal copy of the game or your PC sucks.

Either way, I can't help you. You need to have a basic/rudimentary knowledge of how a computer works, dude. If it's still freezing after the fresh install then you've got bigger problems than not being able to run a 4 year old cricket game! :yes

Ashes cricket nt working on my intel (R) graphics card

INTEL(R) HD GRAPHICS CARD
Monitor : Generic Pnp Monitor

Game works fine till bowler balls a ball and when i try to play shot it hangs and black screen appears and then their comes a message that graphics driver had stopped working and has recovered successfully.....
i changed resolution and tried all tricks i saw on planet cricket bt still nt working
:mad:noway:D:spy:rolleyes:cheers:wave:thumbs:clap:rolleyes

I have installed the game properly. When I start the game, nothing heppens. I have checked through Task Manager that Cricket2009.exe file is running but no screen of game. Any Solution?????

My system configuration is this
28asxue.jpg

Same to me,Just he had a graphic card Intel g31,I have Q35,
Any solution for that!

Minimum Game Requirements are this:

-Windows XP/Vista. (if running Windows Vista SP1 or above is recommended)
-DirectX 9.0c
-2 Ghz Pentium or AMD? equivalent
-1 GB RAM
-Graphics Card: GeForce 6800 / Radeon X1600 or above Shader 3.0 256MB RAM card
-DirectX Compatible Sound Card
-Dual layer DVD-ROM Drive
-2.5 GB Hard Drive Space

Minimum generally means the game will run, but only just. I would advise having better-than-required specs to run Cricket 09. Since it's a 3 year old game, you'll need a relatively decent PC or Laptop. I would guess you don't have a decent enough graphics card (ie, looks like you have bog standard Intel one, which isn't supported) or are running a pirated version of the game.

There's your problem. Why have a pretty good video card in the 9600GT and then bottleneck it with only 1GB RAM and a single core processor?

Upgrade to at least 2GB of RAM, and a dual core processor, and theres your high settings :)

A Pentuim D is a dual core processor based on Presler.
cpu-3010.png

It is the old dual cores but its better than a P$ but will still bottleneck a gpu when it runs on a low clock.

Easy way to see a bottleneck is to turn all your graphics related features down and run the game again. If it stays the same with features pushed up or on low its the cpu. You can try and overclock it past 3 GHZ and see if your fps will look better.

Ram kits are so cheap these days. You can buy a cheap 4gb kit for 30USD. Do not buy one stick at a time. Buy a kit with 2 sticks so the timings would be the same

These are the system requirements for Ashes Cricket 09,

If you do not meet them, you will have trouble getting the game to work.

If you are unsure, click the Start button, click run, and type in Dxdiag. The information in the Display tab is important, if it says something about an Intel GMA chipset, you probably won't be able to run the game.

For help on what it all means, click the save all information button and post that here (as an attachment). Try to give information about any error messages you get, and mention if you are using the retail version or the demo.
my system specs are attached through the attachment..
i am using cracked version.. please help me :(
