1. GAME CONTROLS
a) Batting
Move batsman --- The control pad or left analog stick left/right
Direction you want to hit it --- Control pad/left analog stick
Back foot shot --- Triangle + control pad/left analog stick
Front foot shot --- x + control pad/left analog stick
Leave/duck --- Square
Power boost --- Hold down L1 while playing a shot
Defensive shot --- x or triangle
Charge the ball --- Circle + control pad/left analog stick
Start running --- Circle
Stop running and turn back --- Square
B) Bowling
To make the green marker appear on the screen you have to push
either x, circle, square or triangle. Each different button does
a different ball. To stop the power metre on the side push the
button that you chose to make the green marker appear.
For Example:
If I push x to make the marker appear then I push x to stop the
power metre at the desired speed.
c) Fast/Medium Fast Bowler
Straight ball --- x
Slower ball --- Circle
Cutter --- Square
d) Swing Bowler
Out-swinger --- Square
In-swinger --- Circle
Straight ball --- x
e) Off Spin Bowler

2. GAME MODES
Exhibition Match --- This is where you can pick any two teams to
have a one off match. The settings can be changed to how you like.
Test Series --- Choose two test match status nations and play a
series between 1-5 games.
World Cup --- Choose a team and compete against 12 of the worlds
best sides. The ODI tournament starts off with two groups then gets
cut down to one group of six then the semi finals and the final.
Knockout Tournament --- This is a ODI tournament where you play
one team in each round. The winner of the match advances to the
next round and the looser gets knocked out.
World Series --- This ODI tournament is held in Australia and
consist between 3-5 teams. Each team plays each other once and
the two top teams at the end play in the best of 3 finals to
decide the winner.
Sharjah --- This ODI tournament is played between 4 teams that
play each other once. The two top teams at the end play each
other in 1 final to decide the winner
* (This tournament can not be played unless you win the world cup
on normal or hard difficulty level).
Practice Nets --- This is a place where you can practice your
batting and bowling.

B) Pitch Conditions
Hard Pitch --- It's going to be bouncy and very fast, even some good
turn for the spinners.
Dusty Pitch --- It's virtually the same except the spinners are going
to get extreme turn and irregular bounce.
Dry Pitch --- It's still going to be fast but with a bit higher bounce
and the same kind of spin happening later on.
Normal Pitch --- Everything is just going to be normal.
Green Pitch --- The speed and bounce are going to be normal but with
good movement off the seam. Very little spin though.
Damp Pitch --- There's going to be low bounce and a slow pitch and
outfield, but with a bit more spin.
Wet Pitch --- Same as the damp pitch.

4. HINTS, TIPS AND CHEATS
a) Rewards
The Rewards are the all time great teams for various different coutries
and to unlock them you have to win different tournaments at a certain
level.
All Time World --- Beat Australia in a 3 or 5 test series on hard mode.
All Time South Africa --- Win the world series on normal or hard mode.
All Time New Zealand --- Win the world series on normal or hard mode.
All Time Australia --- Win Sharjah on normal or hard mode.
All Time England --- Win Sharjah on normal or hard mode.
All Time West Indies --- Win the knockout tournament on normal or hard
mode.
All Star Squad --- Win the knockout tournament on normal or hard mode.
Open Sharjah --- Win the world cup on normal or hard mode.
B) Hints and Tips
The best normal team in the game is Australia and that is mainly because
they have such a strong batting attack and they have Brett Lee. He is the
main strike power of the team and if you just keep bowling yorkers the
whole time he is almost certain to get wickets. The same goes for other
pace bowlers to.
When you are batting you have to watch where the marker is going and then
TIME IT right. The main part of batting is timing the ball well and
hitting it where the fielders aren't.
If it is a yorker you can sweep it every time for an easy single and if
it's a half volley it should be hit straight or through the covers.
c) Cheats
There is only one cheat that I know of
Super Batsman --- From the main menu go into inside EA Sports and at this
screen push R2, Circle, L2, R1, Select. If it works a
message will come up saying, Super Batsman. This lets
you hit a 6 nearly every ball.
5. GLITCHES
Here are some glitches that I know. This is on here because lots of
people talk about them on the message board.
Batsman Stopping --- Batsman stop halfway through running, usually on the
third run.
Lots of Catching --- The player keeps on repeating the same catch but if
you wait it will stop in a few minutes.
Stupid Commentary --- The Commentator repeats himself or says things that
don't go with whats happening.
Bad LBW Decisions --- Some LBW's are given when it's not even close to
being out.
