Champions League XX

PC Champions League 20, officially known as Champions League XX is the 22nd entry in the Champions League series and the 20th canonical edition of the Champions League, a club cricket championship contested on the PlanetCricket forums. Na Maloom Afraad will takeover the hosting duties for a record fourth time, having previously hosted the 14th, 16th and 18th editions of the league. Played in the 50 over List A format, it is by far the most prestigious cricketing league on the forums.

Champions League XX, simply known acronymically as CL XX, will feature a total of six teams, two fewer than the previous edition. Winners from Zimbabwe Premier League, a cricket league considered PlanetCricket royalty, will take on the champion sides of the renowned Haier Cup Pakistan and Indian One-Day Championship competitions, as well as titleholders from exciting first-time entrant leagues, the Big Bash League, the Amarnath-Kardar Trophy and the Emerald Cricket League.

Zimbabwe will host their second Champions League, having previously played tournament hosts in the 12th edition. Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo and Harare Sports Club in Harare were shortlisted as the two venues to host the tournament, with Harare Sports Club being hand-picked as the venue for the Champions League final.

Squads

Teams are required to confirm their winning squad from their qualifying tournament. No changes can be made, unless stated.

Playing XIs

Playing XIs are required to contain a minimum of one proper wicket keeper (//) and six bowling (//) options.
Each side can field a maximum of four overseas () players in a match. There are no restrictions on local players.

Please mark your active keeper with †/ and active bowlers with ^/ when you submit your matchday squad.

Player Clashes

Players signed by multiple teams are made eligible on matchday by the following criteria:

Local players to either side are retained by the local franchise, unless stated.
Overseas players to both sides are ruled out from the fixture altogether.

Format

All teams are placed into a single ladder and play the other five teams once in a single round-robin format.
Top-ranked team advances to the final and the second and third-placed teams play in the eliminator.

Tiebreakers

A Super Over is to be used as a tiebreaker during playoff matches. Points are shared in league stage ties.

Player Injuries

Injuries will also be randomly simulated at the end of each round.
Players that play without a rest are more likely to get injured.

- Heals fully after a one-game rest.

Degree 2

* Can play with a 50% ratings decrease; 75% chance of developing a Degree 3 injury
- Heals fully after a one-game rest.

Degree 3

* Out for one game; instantly made unavailable
- Can play one game early with a 50% ratings decrease upon return. Heals fully after a two-game rest.

Degree 4

* Out for two to three games; instantly made unavailable
- Can play one game early with a 25% ratings decrease upon return. Heals fully after a three-game rest.

Degree 5

* Out for the remainder of the tournament; released from squad.
- A replacement player may be approved of under the league manager's discretion.​
