TEST [COMPLETED] England vs New Zealand 2022- 3 Tests

I am trying to transfer in Bairstow for Williamson and every time I do it says invalid replacement when it shouldn't. Any ideas?

Probably because Bairstow is tagged as a wicket keeper and you're trying to replace him with a batsman. My guess is that you would be able to sub him only in the wicket keeper slot.

It's just let me replace Nicholls with Latham who is also a wicket keeper so it's not that.
 
It won't let me bring in Bairstow for anyone. Any ideas why?

One a serious note, it's probably a bug. I had encountered it as well in previous series.

The thing is that there are 3 options for a player in their FC profile
  1. Batsman
  2. Bowler
  3. Keeper

So if we select 2 options as Batsman & Bowler the player will show up as an all-rounder. Similarly, if we select Batsman & Keeper the player will show up as a Keeper. But in some cases only a Keeper is selected due to which you cannot replace both players.

In your case, you might be trying to replace Bairstow (Batsman + Keeper) with Blundell (Keeper) which is why it's resulting in an error. Maybe from next series onwards we would only have Batsman + Keeper players in the Squads.

That makes sense. A keeper will always be a batsman too.
 
It's definitely an error. I should be able to replace Williamson with Bairstow and it's not letting me.
 
My teams is done. Anderson (captain) out and Jameison (bonus player) out also.
