Contoller prob

I have had Cricket 2004 since it came out, I have always played it using a gamepad (Logitech Dual Action). However after I had to format my pc, I reinstalled my gamepad and the game, the problem is the game will not detect the gamepad, resulting in me having to use the keyboard which i hate.

Any ideas why this is happening? Everything is configured exactly the same way it was before the format... :crying :help

Is the control pad reconized by the Game Controllers section of the Control Panel?
