Where is George Headley? Best batsmen the Windies have ever produced. He wasn't called the 'Black Bradman' for the fun of it. Other than that you won't get too many arguments from me. I'd count Michael Holding, Andy Roberts, Wes Hall and Frank Worrell very unlucky.

I'll have a go at an Aussie team.

1. Victor Trumper
2. Bill Ponsford
3. Ricky Ponting
4. Don Bradman
5. Greg Chappell
6. Allan Border (c)
7. Adam Gilchrist (wk)
8. Keith Miller
9. Shane Warne
10. Dennis Lillee
11. Glenn McGrath

Steve Waugh, Stan McCabe, Ray Lindwall and Fred Spofforth would be unlucky to miss out on my team.

You'd put Ponting at number 3 over Bradman? And have Trumper & Ponsford over Haydos? I'd take Ponsford as the other opener with Hayden and switch Punter with Bradman. But apart from that I'd have the same side as Iron-Haggis.

1. Matthew Hayden
2. Bill Ponsford
3. Don Bradman
4. Ricky Ponting
5. Greg Chappell
6. Allan Boarder (c)
7. Adam Gilchrist (wk)
8. Keith Miller
9. Shane Warne
10. Dennis Lillee
11. Glenn McGrath

I'll have a crack at another team's later.

Victor Trumper was considered the best batsmen since WG Grace and the best batsmen Australia produced until the arrival of Don Bradman. Plus to average what he did on what we know could be very ordinary batting strips is enough to get ahead of Hayden in my opinion. I picked Ponting at number 3 because thats where he scores all his runs and Bradman is just that good that position doesn't matter.

  1. Don Bradman Cricket 14 - PS3
Pakistan

Saeed Anwar
Haneef Muhammad
Younis Khan
Javed Miandad
Inzamam-Ul-Haq
Imran Khan*
Wasim Bari+
Wasim Akram
Abdul Qadir
Waqar Younis
Fazal Mahmood

Muhammad Yousuf misses out due to having Miandad and Inzamam at #4 and 5. Younis makes it for being Pakistan's best number 3 in tests. Also, Saqlain misses out to Qadir and also since you can't have a Pakistani bowling attack with only three pacers. :) Sarfaraz Nawaz misses out to Fazal as well.

yeah I thought about Hobbs was a tough one same with eddie Painter maybe Boycott was lucky to make my team ahead of them just look at that bowling attack though

I didnt put a all rounder in there could have had T Greig or Ted Dexter

its really tough to chose a 11 lol its my next project for rosters actually and picking 20 is hard enough!

Titmus would also be a good Off spinner to have in there

I can understand not putting in WG since he never played too many tests (although his non-test cricket career was the best), but Hobbs is considered one of the best openers in the history of test cricket, and is probably the best test cricketer to come out of England.

Hobbs wouldget in my all time world XI. if you get to have the players right at their very best then Steve Harmison has to be thrown in. He was never consistent enough but when he bowled in the 1st test against the West Indies and got 7/12 he was unplayable.

yeah I know id have to take out Boycott there is no way can take out Hutton with the statisics he had and the famous 300 he got

according to the ICC rankings he is the 2nd best player of all time behind Bradman too

I guess I had Boycott in there for balance have a anker in there like Lawry

I cant put Pieterson in their way too early for him hes only new maybe in 10 years time
