The main problem still seems to be bowling. Against left-hand batsmen the AI RH bowlers still tend to bowl over the wicket and down the legside (meaning lots of easy legside runs) - only later do they go round the wicket and bowl on off stump.
The new leg glance is welcome, but it seems utterly random whether a front leg side shot on the controller produces a pull shot animation or a leg glance animation.
Fielding is generally quicker, but fields change randomly, often producing easy gaps in the field and simple runs. Some fielders are still completely asleep, so it is difficult to judge an easy run or an easy run-out. That may be realistic for village cricket but not for modern Test Matches or T20 where the standard of fielding is now so high.
The lack of outfield catches is still a major problems - so many people have commented on this that it is ridiculous that it hasn't been addressed.
Overall, it is getting better, but it is still a bit of a mess... DB14 unpatched is still superior in terms of gameplay.
