Cricket 2004 Crash - Help?

I've managed to get hold of cricket 2004..

The game is installed, I go to run it, the machine crashes when the EA sports logo movie plays.. I cannot go any further..

Specs

1.2ghz
Geforce 4 mx 440 64meg
256 SDRAm

yeah ur graphics card drivers as well as directx drivers

Yes, the movie starts then freezes..

You will find that you are not actually on the lastest version of the drivers. Check your version number of the dll's. I had this issue with 2002 especially under XP where I could not update the graphic drivers. You need a utility can't remember what it was called but you need the utility to completely remove the old files and hence replace them with the latest drivers. Then you should get it to work

Thanks for your idea, I used the detonator destoryer, and installed the drivers, still has the crash.. <_<

what about ur direct X.....is it 8+ or is it 9 coz i have heard that a few old 3D cards are unable to play games on the dX9...i dont rem where i heard that though
