cricket 2004 install problems

I installed cricket 2004 but when i play it , the EA logo screen doesnt come up, instead the ussual green screen with the logos of NZ, SA and australia cricket boards. then the game exits automatically to the desktop, help!!!!!

I m sure you are using intel onboard graphics.This doesnt support cricket 2004,upgrade your video card.

When I started playing Cricket 2004 it did that, but when I disabled this program called 'Novell' it ran fine.
Novell was a huge problem for most of the people at my school who liked playing games on their laptops.
