I am wondering if I should buy Cricket 2005, the demo seems really hard, can anyone teach me how to play it, so i can buy the game? I can only make leg bye singles or 2's and block some yorkers. I never won the demo....yes never.

You can't really teach a person how to play. Get the full version and practise in the nets. Then go to the real thing and play a heap of games. Learn how to time the ball and where to hit the balls. Test match cricket is probably the best place to start as there is no pressure on scoring fast.

the other option u can use is to play it in easy mode first and then came to medium or hard mode and about tests its good to play at beginning, but due to lot of edges in it u can't survive for much time, so choose a 50 over match and save ur wickets at beginng and then in mid overs score some runs and thats the best way to learn it.

Play like you would in real life. Straight drives to the right balls, cover drives to the right ones etc.

Also, I would like to recommend you not to play in easy mode because footwork selected by CPU is really not correct at times, so medium mode would be more appropriate for you I reckon.

I played the demo and it seemed easy at times.
All i did was advance and hit it to long square leg for six, obviously took me a long time :p.
