the basic controls
batting
A- front foot shot
Y- Back foot shot
X- defensive shot
B- down the wicket/Advance shot
LT.thumbstick /Gamepad- shot direction
(pull and hold the thumbstick for "six shot")
the reason why things are frustrating is that the gameplay sucks!!

No i dont,try using the same keys and find out what key means what.
Try the following
A- front foot shot
Y- Back foot shot
X- Leave delivery
B- down the wicket/Advance shot
LT.thumbstick /Gamepad- shot direction
(pull and hold the thumbstick for "six shot")
A defensive shot is played by pushing straight up on the LT.thumbstick and hiting the A or Y button (front foot defensive or back foot defensive)
For bowling the buttons are fairly easy. A list of bowling options is displayed on the left hand side with the related button. Hit the one you want. Move the purple circle to the line and length you want for the bowl. Hit the same button you selected again and the bowler come in to bowl. Hit the same button for the third time when the bowling indicator gets up to the top of the orange section to determine effectiveness. (if it goes over you bowl a no ball).
