Has anyone had rain in the game

First few Test matches seemed to have rain delayed starts. I had a reduced ODI as well as reduced Five5s but this was a few patches ago. I’ve seen rain in recent games but we played on through it. Can’t say I’ve ever come across it in Career but haven’t played that much.

Can you choose whether to use a Dukes or Kookaburra ball and change Stumps if so where can you do this?

Yes I raised a ticket. I mentioned it drizzle but games is not stopped. Hopefully they will fix this. I am pleased how the game now has cloud cover and weather change is dynamic.
For what you raised ticket bro? do you not want Rainy weather or rain visibility.

Yeah it's a very backwards and outdated process unlike DBC14, here's how anyway...

>go to match designer/editor
>make a copy of the format you want to play
>create a new match and use the copied format
>go to "start times"
>in match start times you will see options to change stumps and ball.

I do want rainy weather with overcast conditions and we can see rain in game but the game continues even with the rain and the game play is not stopped. I have mentioned in my ticket that when we select overcast conditions it will rain after the game starts and play will be stopped. A cut scene for pitch cover is shown and clock ticking to show game stopped due to rain. Once the weather gets clear the cut scene will again show pitch cover getting removed and players are coming back on field. With dynamic weather and cut scene already present it is not difficult to implement

Yes but we can only use custom stump during play now and can’t use it in competition or tour

I gave the game another go after the latest patch and so far:

The ugly pull shot from C19 is back.
The ridiculous overthrows from C19 are back.
The bouncers that constantly go for 4 byes from C19 are back.
The terrible bowling to left handers from C19 is back.
The terrible frame rate under lights from C19 is back.
The unrealistic Test run rate from C19 are back.

You get the feeling they've just pasted back in code from C19 and made the whole thing worse. Plus they've overpowered batmen in all formats so hitting 6s is easy. I just don't get what they are thinking - it's almost like they've given up.

Bouncers, run rate and overpowered batsmen can all be sorted with a few slider changes that would take less time to do than it did to come and type your message my friend.

In my experience, the bouncer issue appears to be more of chucking bouncers down the leg side rather than excessive bounce, but it's an easy fix regardless.

Has anyone had rain stop play? It’s drizzled a bit for me but comes to nothing. This has to be in the game. Anyone raise a ticket for it?
Just rained for 90 overs straight at the SCG and no stoppage in play. I just don’t understand how this could be missing from the game at this point.

Press conferences are definitely broken for some of us on the Xbox S X :(.

I've played a specialist batsman career I'd already created weeks ago through to club captaincy & county championship recruitment level over this weekend & no press conferences have come through at all.

The man of the match cut scene is now broken too & only shows the cheque being given then it closes before the rest of the TV interview.

In an existing career I also only got one sponsor through but with this new career I got all 4 x sponsors all at once as soon as I was promoted to county level.

Career mode clearly still has a lot of issues that dearly need fixing.

It's not just bouncers down the leg side though. Any short ball on a hard pitch goes to the moon. It was a problem in C19 and it's back in C22. Sliders don't fix it.
