Cricket Australia has taken objection to Harbhajan Singh's recent outburst, when he labelled the Australian team "arrogant", called Matthew Hayden a "big liar" and said Adam Gilchrist was "not a saint". The remarks, which Harbhajan later denied saying, have been taken up by the Australian board with its Indian counterparts.

The Sun-Herald reported that James Sutherland, the Cricket Australia chief executive, wrote a letter to Niranjan Shah, the BCCI secretary, indicating his displeasure over Harbhajan's conduct. "Enough is enough," Sutherland was quoted by the newspaper. "Despite assurances that you have instructed him not to fuel this issue any more, Harbhajan continues to say whatever he wants. When will it ever end? Could you please deal with your player in regard to these comments?"

This further more shows how pathetic Harbhajan is by directing comments at players who are far more respected then he is and labelling them for what he actually is.

Well Hayden shouldnt of called him a weed in the first place which started it.

Well, he's just stating the obvious :p.

As was Hayden.

Gilly isn't a saint, of course. He's a wicket keeper. Gem of a bloke though.

He is saying the truth on both counts (Bhajji).

On Gilly, yes he is not exactly a saint. In one of those ODI's that took place in India last year, when Harbhajan got out, a lot of the Aussie players were giving him a verbal send off and Gilly was the most vocal among them.

Gilly does do it too (getting back at the opposition players). But its very few among many.

Hayden might be respected in our eyes, but after that 'weed' comment you just have to see how much respect he has lost in the cricketing world. Had he not made that comment, he would have been way better off. He has fallen (including in my own eyes; not that you would care).

I smell a flame war is coming this way.

:rtfl CA asking to punish player when they let off Hayden with just warning. What did Bhajji say.

If anyone ask me did you say Monkey to Symmond. What will I say. I will say no and other person is lying. So whats wrong with that.

Are you kidding? What Hayden said was hilarious and true. If you're gonna sledge someone then atleast have some humour innit. Harbhajan's reply was dull and embarrassing.

If anything I think Hayden's earnt respect from it as everyone else in the world is seemingly starting to get sick of India's whinging and getting away with things so it's only fitting that someone puts them in their place.

He was just acting like a typical Australian bloke who was having a crack at someone who was acting like a complete bathoon.

Dude, calling someone 'an obnoxious weed' is bad enough.
I mean, why start it when matters had cooled down.

BCCI would reprimand Harbhajan, nothing else, seeing as CA also reprimanded Haydos.

Then they should reprimand him, like Hayden was.

Harbhajan shouldn't have said what he did, and if Hayden can be reprimanded for attacking one player, then Harbhajan should be for attacking a whole team and making false allegations too. Hayden may have insulted Harbhajan, but Harbhajan made serious allegations against the players, and made an attack on the character of one of the world's most respected cricketers.

There was no humour in that. Harbhajan replied to something someone should not have said. TBH Hayden is real dumb*ss saying things like that when the matter was dying down. From that day I lost all my respect for him because he showed his true colours...
