Cricket awareness, please advise.....

In the past 8 years that I have resided in the United States, I had been very ignorant to the players and teams of the locally famous sports like baseball, basketball, etc. The one way I found out more and more about these teams and players was by playing in competitive fantasy leagues with my friends and betting small amounts on teams. All this gave me an idea about how to create interest about cricket in my fellow co-workers/friends. For months and years they have heard me babble on and on about cricket this and cricket that, but what if they had to look up teams and players themselves, which they will if money is involved.

I'm sure people have heard of football squares and brackets for march madness, etc. I would like to use this kind of a simple way to attract people into betting on cricket teams (I was hoping I could start with the upcoming Pak-WI series). If anybody has any ideas at all concerning this, please let me know. I already have about 6 people who would go along with it.

P.S: It'd be better if it was something more fun than just betting on which team will win. Thank you for your time.

LOL, to get ppl around me interested in school, whenever ur in the computer lab, and the teacher isnt looking, play StickCricket. Everybody will then join you playing StickCricket (or atleast they did with me!) and theyll wanna know a bit more about cricket. But they wont be Pakistan. THe top 3 teams they chose from Stick Cricket was in this order :


1. Australia
2. England
3. New Zealand

lol. In Australia, we play backyard cricket, hall cricket, pool room cricket, underwater cricket, car cricket and indoor cricket. I know this doesn't help.

Backyard cricket was fun mate,

I use to play with my neighbor chance of getting me out was 0,We were playing unlimited overs match and They couldnt get me out and the only was cheating.
