And moreover he isn't at all clever in that. :p :lol

Guys, do you think there should be a rule for replacing managers in your league.

I'm only saying this because I've been replaced in Haarithan's league because I was offline for 2 days. Also, i wasn't vm/pm'd telling me this, nor was i warned that I would be replaced if i wasn't online soon.

Another example I have was of the 'replacement' of Paki007 in Prats' Asian Premier League because he missed a couple of rounds in the drafts. He was later reinstated after complaining.

There should be rules regarding the replacement of managers, e.g. a certain time you have to wait before seeking another manager. Maybe 3 days (or 2 match-rounds/3 draft-rounds).

Also, there should be 'moral' guidelines that you should follow if you're going to replace a manager, you should send them a vm/pm if you are going to replace them letting them know that they are going to be replaced because they haven't been as active as you would like them to be (or something along those lines)

I'm quite disappointed with Haarithan, i didn't think that he would make such rushed decisions and I have lost a lot of respect for him. :(

Mate , i did VM you , i did find you online for a couple of days without posting the lineups or commenting on the matches , so i thought you had lost interest over my league and did what was necessary . The different timing zones din help the cause either . Remember when i first posted that you required an assistant manager ? You were the one who said that wasn't required . So , in noway am i at fault . Also i din want this league to drag on until the start of my semester examinations and your inactiveness only resulted in me posting 1 match for every 3 days . So , really sorry if i hurt you . :(

Most managers vm when they want you to post a line-up, you didn't. I checked the thread, but you hadn't posted the match after mine so i guessed the next line-up wasn't needed.

1) I never have an assistant manager, i prefer working alone on my teams otherwise you end up moaning about who to draft/play.

2) It's not like i've just begun living in England, i've always lived here and you would have known that the time-zones would have been a problem right from the beginning, why did you pick me to be a manager in the first place if you knew the time-zones would be a problem.

Also, it's "Didn't", not "Din" (Unless you're some American rapper)

If someone is banned I'll replace them or if they aren't on for maybe a week or so without having posted that they are going away. I actually have more trouble with people coming online but not posting a line-up etc.:p But that happens, sometimes you just forget or miss a vm. I noticed you were only offline for a day which is VERY harsh to get dropped.

I VMed him but he didn't reply cos he was offline. Also you know that he is totally new to Cricket Leagues and to me. So, I was not able to trust him fully. Due to this, I though that he won't turn up soon and hence decided to replace him.

BTW, the point you've brought up Harris is good one. :)

At the end of the day though it's up to the league runner. If he keeps dropping people for not coming online for 1 day he's gonna struggle to get people and it will be his loss. Just dw about it Harris.:thumbs

That's why I run my league gradually, both the league and team managers are satisfied.

I'm not slacking off, been busy with NBA 2k11. :p

EDIT : And yeah, exams too.
