1) how is gayle the top ODI batsman???
2) matthew haydens best knock is 835 vs india at centurion, 2003...
im guessing that was during the world - that was the only time we played australia in SA in 2003...
in the two games vs australia at the world cup - the first one was them chasing 125 - i dont remember his final score, but it was obviously not even 125...
the second game was the final - where he looked distinctly uncomfortable, and martyn and ponting stole the show...
3) stephen flemings best rating is 689 vs SA at dunedin this year...
his world cup innings vs SA, chasing over 300, against one of the best attacks in the world, under so much pressure after having lost the first match - and the manner of the innings - the beauty and coolness with which he decimated the attack that day makes it one of my favorite ever ODI innings...
4) - minor - sachins innings vs australia at sharjah in 99 has to be his best ever, if not one of THE best ever...
remarks? opinions? am i missing something?
