cricket statistics software for a team

Hi,

Can anyone recommend decent software for tracking a team throughout a season; i.e. in-depth coverage of all individual batting and bowling statistics, team (partnership etc) stats, and so on?

I have been using Red Axe Software's Cricket Statz, but I'm not prepared to pay for the Pro version, as it's not as good as I would expect for the amount of money they are charging.

I'm actually considering just creating my own in-depth Excel workbook covering everything I need to. Does anyone have a template of anything similar they would be prepared to share?

I'm surprised there doesn't appear to be more comprehensive software available, considering how many thousands of cricket teams there are around the world, and how statistically and analytically desirable it is to track everything (for us statistics freaks anyway!)

Regards, and thanks for any help.

a few weeks ago i was wondering the same question and started a thread in technology, sadly know one really knew of any good ones for free.

I found this free one excel on however:

cg123, thanks for the excel link! looks excellent - only big thing it is missing is actual "match cards", i.e. to determine results, partnership records, etc.

brook, i actually stated in my original post that i currently use cricket statz, but it's not ideal.

no prob mate. the excel sheets are ideal for a season of individual players but yeah, you cant have matches.
