If you're looking at the banner above and thinking: what the f*ck is that site, then here is the answer.
Like most of you, we have been inspired by the summer?s Ashes, and decided to launch a sister site to the popular www.footballingworld.com. The aims of the cricket site are very similar to those of the football site: to provide informed, original and thought-provoking articles on a regular basis.
Thanks to Ste, we will now be using Planet Cricket as our forums, so you'll probably be seeing a lot more of us!
Remember we are very keen on you to write for us if you?re knowledgeable and fancy yourself as a bit of a writer. We are looking for articles on pretty much anything, from the county game to the international scene and reviews of all the latest cricketing items. If you have an article on cricket at any level, be it serious or even satirical, there's a good chance we'll be interested. Please post here or pm me.
And don?t be afraid to give your views on this site either ? it?s made for you and we?d like to make visits as enjoyable as possible. If you think soemthing's pants please say - the site is still in its early stages and we know it will need plenty of changing. Please have a good look round the site and tell us how to improve it - we can't do it without you!
