Cut shot suggestions

Is anyone able to offer suggestions on how to play the CUT and LATE CUT SHOTS properly on HARD level on PC.
I'm struggling to either make bat on ball, and when I do, the ball usually drops infront of me.
Could anyone offer suggestions on what the ideal length should be, also how far wide the ball should be and at what point you should start to hit the ball for both back and front foot shots, and also six hit shot.

wide short.wait for the ball then play the shot. it doesn't always come off but you have to practice.

for cut shot/late cut for front foot ball should be wide and about good length. for late cut needs to be a little closer than for cut shot.
for back foot ball needs to be short pitched but needs to be closer than than for cut shot.
but remember if it is pitched real short u cannot touch the ball with cut or late cut back foot shot
