Does Cricket 2004 have Player Statistics?

i.e. does it enable you to record, over time, the amount of runs / 50s / 100s / balls etc etc or wickets / overs ... that kinda thing ?!

It was a glaring gap in Cricket 2002 ... Brian Lara's cricket had it ... albeit in not as much detail as I'd like

So, can anyone tell me if Cricket 2004 has this in the game?

Thanks :)

Nope it doesn't have stat tracking :(
It saves your fastest 100, 50 etc. but thats about all

Thanks ....

Grrr ... that's really crap ... it wouldn't take much to add this surely?!

Game designers take note!!!!

Well according to the interview with Andrew Wilson, it was a choice between stat tracking or a World League with transfers. He's really glad the stat tracking won because it's a brilliant feature. Obviously it had too many bugs even for EA and had to be taken out at the last minute.

I'm not offending you or anything but WELL DUHHHH!!!

No wait, he said that it was between stat tracking and historical matches and stats won. He promised us World League

I dunno about anyone else, but I'd glady have forfeited yet another league or even a few more player faces to get some stat tracking in there.

Cricket is all about stats!!!!

I know it's a small thing about the game but this is really making me consider whether it's worth shelling out ?25 plus for a game which has up-to-date players and a slightly different graphics package but has such glaring omissions as this!

I mean, this game has unlimited life because each game is different but it'd be so great to be able to keep stats of the team you play as and see how many runs / wickets you can amass over a career or whatever!

It was always gratifying to check the stats on Brian Lara and see Tuffers with 2000+ career tests runs! ;)

*disappointed*

Roll on Cricket 2005 / 2006 !!!!!!!!!!
