Does Difficulty settings (easy, medium and hard) apply when u r
practicing in nets as well ?..

I set the game to 'HARD' mode....entered in to Nets...iam able to
nice shots, timing bar shows in the ideal range...

but when i enter in to a match with CPU (in hard mode), iam unable to play
in the same way as i played in the nets....scoring a run is one hell of a task..

so i really doubt whether difficulty settings apply to nets ....

Of course they count in the nets.

Maybe you find it difficult in the match 'cause of the pitch conditions.

Nets are there for u to practice in the difficulty mode you've chosen.

you see there are no fielders in the nets so you never fret while playing in the nets, its just in matches that you do.
or if u still find it difficult,i suggest start a match with easy mode and after every 2-3 overs save and change to the next mode, that way you will be settled

I always found it easier to play a test match in hard mode, you'll get it quicker. After practicing in the nets, I went to play an ODI in hard mode against NZL, couldn't score many runs at all. My best from a player was 22 and even that was mostly edges that went through the slips. Then I played a test against the same team in HM, 375 runs in the first innings!!!

The nets are easier to bat in because the pacemen get no cut of any sort and the bowlers dont mix-up their pace. It just really to get an idea of what type of delivery you will play a certain shot to.

I think that the best way to practice is just to keep playing matches

I find the nets really annoying. I find that the bowlers bowl a totally different line and length in the nets as opposed to in match conditions.
