does no cd patch cause gameplay patch to not work? - it seems like tha

hi when I installed the no cd exe it almost seems like it has become easier for me to hit my shots. I can easily hit balls into the 3rd and 4th deck of the stands for six whereas just in my last game i was having problems doing that. maybe the pitch conditions are different but i am not sure. Has anyone else seen this happen? What effect does changing the exe have on the shot captures for the batsman? I dont see why it should change anything. I put back my original exe but still I am able to hit same kinda shots into the upper decks. Is it just that in this specific match i am able to cuz of pitch conditions? Someone else share their views please?
