Don Bradman Cricket 14 - Issues and Anomalies after patch 2 [PS3/360]

We believe, fingers crossed, that we have TheMugs profile running on one of our boxes and it crashes. It's not a great leap forward but it's something.

It is ever so frustrating not being able to play the 360 version I'm not in a position where I can go out and buy a new xbox either. But hopefully thanks to TheMug we will soon be able to play it finally.

I hope so, because I am desperate to be able to play my saved game on the 360. I just wish there was a timeframe but having seen how long it took patch 2 to be approved im not hopeful of play for weeks yet.

Timeframe would be impossible to judge given they still haven't nailed down an exact resolution to the issue. You'd assume/hope that Microsoft would be accommodating to a patch to fix an issue like this and it wouldn't take that long after that point.

Maybe they could throw in some of the fixes we've had post-patch 2 on PC as a bonus to make up for the wait?

Mode: Career Mode
Match Type: ODI for West Indies
Over Count (Match Overs + When Occured): after the game
Ground: cant remember
Teams: West Indies
Get Best: yes -
Description of Issue: After I finish My Match in the ODI against England , In my first international Match for West Indies, the game crashed after the Full match. it crashed when the Screen is Loading. My Ps3 just restart. When i play the career Mode again, it played that Same match, and again it crash, its not moving from that Match.

Maybe my save game is corrupted ? since everything else works fine, even starting a New career.

Playing for yorkshire / bushrangers just turned 18 in my career and just started my first test match Once the game is over win or lose as i have had both out comes the career page does not load , i had to forfeit my game which then got me past tge crash but very annoying after Trying st least twelve times to load the game and complete it properly ????

These are couple of bugs I have encountered on PS3 after patch 2 in career mode. Pls note I started a new career after patch 2 and I'm not continuing my earlier career. I never encountered these bugs prior to patch 2.

Bug 1

Mode: Career (on Legend)
Match Type: Pro 40
Over Count (Match Overs + When Occured): 10th over of the 1st innings
Ground: Don't recall
Teams: Essex (career player's team) vs a county team which I don't recall
Get Best: Yes
Description of Issue: Was given out off a free hit. After a no-ball the umpire signalled free hit and I slogged. Was caught and given out!


Bug 2

Mode: Career (on Legend)
Match Type: Pro 40
Over Count (Match Overs + When Occured): All
Ground: All
Teams: Essex (career player's team) vs county teams
Get Best: Yes
Description of Issue: I don't get the BARS review option after I'm dismissed LBW or caught behind. I'm a no. 3 batsman playing for Essex but I don't get to see the BARS option as I get when I play T20s or when I used to play Aus' 50 over domestic tourney in my previous career mode. Last time I was given LBW, the ball pitched outside leg and I couldn't do anything as I was not given an option for the BARS referral.

I don't get the BARS review option either in Pro 40 games.

BARS has been taken out of the Pro40 League, because the real Pro40 league doesn't use a review system.

Though they should have taken it out of T20 too, because that doesn't have one either...

I think they must have got rid of it for 40 overs for patch 2 to reflect real life, but there are reviews for some 50 over games in real life, so that is still there for Aus.

Bug 1 - Did the bowler switch from bowling around/over the wicket for the free hit delivery?

Bug 2 - There are no reviews in county cricket in real life.

I'm not really hopeful of any play for ages then but If they add in my suggestions from my sig It might make up for it
