Did really enjoy the game when I played it but I cannot play it now as when signing in that's ok and academy is ok but crashes every time on logo download due to the memory issues big ant have been very good to us but the issues in the game are incredibly frustrating and disappointing not just for me but all.

Folks can anyone help me with the following...

Q1: How can you vary speed for a spinner? Is there a Gameplay Modifier for doing so similar to "Maximum Pace" for pacers? I'm playing casual matches and I'm seeing some of the AI spinners vary their speed way too much and I want to reduce the variation.

Q2. Anyone know what "Ball Friction" Gameplay Modifier slider does? I thought it was for outfield speed but it isn't the case as I seem to get the same results whether the slider is 0 or 100.

Q3. What is the "Min Pace" Gameplay Modifier slider used for? The "Max Pace" slider is used to increase or decrease the speed of pace bowlers but not sure what "Min Pace" one does. I tried to change it but couldn't figure out the difference.

Q4. Is there a way for me to see the pitch type & conditions after the match starts? Sometimes I skip the screen with pitch type/conditions too soon or don't recall the conditions and want to see the same. Is there any way for me to do so?

Q5. How can I view the type of bowler I'm facing? Occasionally I press X too soon and skip seeing the bowler type at the start of a new over or spell and can't figure out what the bowler will be bowling. Is there a menu where I can see this information? When I press up on d-pad I can see batsmen & bowler confidence/stamina but it doesn't show the Bowler Type.

Ball friction seems to me the speed with which the ball zips of the wicket. If ball friction is increased, the ball does not come fast of the wicket.

Min pace gameplay modifier slider is used to set the minimum speed of the bowler i.e. if its set to 60, the bowling speed won't go below 60. The Max speed and Min speed modifier work in conjunction with each other. If min speed is set to 60 and max to say 40, speed will remain 60 (my assumption)

I do not think that you can see pitch type and conditions after the match starts.

I have not seen this yet. But you can see the type of bowler according to his run up. Pace and medium bowlers have different run ups. Spinners can be understood by their actions.

Does anyone know what's the blue/purple right-angle triangles in top right box of line-up selection screen of career mode are?
Also, what's the 'Status' column in career team's screen? Is it form?

I've downloaded the game from Xbox Store so don't have the manual, hence the silly questions.

@MattW Any chance you guys have the game manual as a PDF or something that you can share?

Just for anyone unsure how to vary spinners speeds- you have to hold L stick on your preferred delivery without pressing the length button, takes about 2 seconds to change, it will then show you the vary bounce and flight hud, rotating to flight reduces speed, rotating to bounce increases speed. Probably sounds a bit confusing but once you see it, you wont forget it.

Has anyone noticed on the MAIN MENU screen -- right hand side.....SETTINGS..... USER STATISTICS..... all your stats -- old DBC14 style is there! (obviously I assume its ALL your stats, not your career only stats....)

I'm suddenly getting a crash now every time I open the game when it says "Loading Logo Data".

I am getting this too Tom happened to me yesterday and today I cannot play the game anymore I tried deleting all the files on my XBOX one and reinstalling the disk but its still crashing all the time on "Loading Logo Data" so incredibly frustrating and disappointing, before then I played the game ok.

Go to your console settings for application/gave saved data (In PS4 it's under "Application game data" or some such) and delete "Stadium" and "Logo" data for DBC 17. If this doesn't work for you and you still get a crash, delete all the application/saved game data, including "Profile". This should work as it did for me on PS4.

Got the game today, put the disc in but nothing happens. Cleaned the disc, restarted xbox etc. and still the game doesn't come up anywhere. First time this has happened with a game, anyone know if this is an Xbox problem or a game problem? Or know any solutions?

Is your console recognizing other games/discs? Are you able to see the game icon anywhere which you can click and start (e.g., in PS$ the game shows up as one of the tiles you can click and start)? This looks more like a console or bad disc issue than related to the game.

Yeah just been playing other games. See it nowhere, as if there's no disc. I'll just give it a few more goes and cleans I guess.

Another option to rule out it's an issue with the disc is to try the disc on some other console - maybe a friend's console if it's possible. If the game doesn't work on another console as well it's surely the disc.
