Could you try doing a full shutdown/restart of the console - hold the power button in for 10+ seconds to turn the console off, then unplug it from the wall and leave it for two minutes or so, then plug back in and turn on.

@MattW , please find a minute to reply to my query regarding setting up the field issue too.

Looks like it, currently in the middle of a sheild season and we are playing in white now.

Not with international teams. On career international teams always wear the test kit regardless of the format. Stats aren't working for ODI matches as well.

Installed the latest patch (Patch 3)... was approximately 640MB (v0.1.0.1.0899).

Played a couple of matches and would appreciate if someone can help me with the following two points...

1. While playing on the leg side (glance/flick shot), I am getting bowled quite often where my batsman steps all the way across the stumps to way outside off and the ball either hits the stumps or goes to the wkt keeper behind the batsman. It used to happen sometimes before the patch but now the "leave ball behind the @$$" is happening way too often.

2. I'm not able to beat the Cover fielder with the cover drive. Whenever I hit the cover drive it goes straight to the cover fielder. Can' figure out how to hit the shot to the right (through cover point) or left (through extra cover) of the fielder.

Any insight and tips on how to play the glance/flick consistently without "leave the ball behind the batsman's @$$" and how to beat the cover fielder would be quite useful.

Unfortunately a fair few of the fielding oddities seem to persist.

Players just running over a ball instead of fielding it for example.

But hopefully a future patch fixes those oddities

difficulty you are playing. Practice and timing is the key, its not too difficult though.

Footwork is important in this game mate..Get to the line of the delivery..If the ball is leg side then place it like between 11 and 12'o clock you should place it really well and ball travels really well..

Tried Medium batting difficulty and then Custom with sliders related to batting (shot difficulty, bowling quality etc.) all set to 50.

What controller are you using?

Footwork is important in this game mate..Get to the line of the delivery..If the ball is leg side then place it like between 11 and 12'o clock you should place it really well and ball travels really well..

If the ball is on leg side and I play a shot to place it between 11 and 12'o clock that would be an on drive, not a flick/glance.[DOUBLEPOST=1485238059][/DOUBLEPOST]

What controller are you using?

I'm on PS4 so the standard PS4 controller.

In medium or 50 customs it shouldnt be hard at all, like adit said get into the line of delivery think he said direction wrong 9-7 o clock and time it. may be try increasing timing window for ideal and see if it helps you.
