ECB World Series Cricket League - Blind Auction
Once the No Ducks Draft concludes, I am planning to hold a slightly different kind of draft in that it isn't a draft at all, but an auction (specifically a blind auction, because I don't have the stamina for a full open auction at this time. The reason I'm doing this as a forum "draft" and not a league is because I absolutely would not want to run the resulting league that came out of it.
I am looking for eight participants, one to take on each squad that will be being built.

Phase Two will comprise players shortlisted by each team manager in the draft, sorted into pools randomly. All unsold local players from Phase One will be automatically carried forward.
Player nominations will open up after Phase One has been completed.

Auction Rules
- Each team will have a £10,000,000 (ten million) budget to spend on at least 17 players.
- There is no restriction to how many players you can bid on from each pool.
- If two or more teams submit the same bid in the blind auction, the player will go to an open auction in the thread between only those bidders.
- All blind bids will be submitted to a PM conversation that I will set up with you.
- I will submit my bids to a random PM conversation each round to commit to the transparency of not using my knowledge of people's bids to my advantage.
- Each squad must comprise a minimum of 18 players. There is no maximum.
- Each squad must contain a maximum of 6 international players (not English, Scottish or Irish).
- Your final submission will be a 13-man matchday squad
- This is because as a part of being The Best Domestic Cricket Ever Played™, teams will have a starting XI as well as two substitutes they can call upon at any point throughout a given match. Please think about your tactics when naming your matchday squad.
- Dublin must select at least four Irish players in their matchday squad.
- No team may select more than four international players in their matchday squad.
