Babar Azam leads the way as Ratnapura end their losing streak in style, crushing Basnahira by 64 Runs.
Azam anchored the innings with a classy 80 as Ratnapura Cricket posted a competitive 240 on a dry, slow surface.
Shubman Gill and Charith Asalanka played supporting roles, but it was Babar’s calm head that stitched the innings together.
Basnahira's bowlers kept things tight, with Chaturanga de Silva and Ramesh Mendis bagging two wickets each.
Basnahira's chase never quite got going. After a quick start from Kusal Perera, wickets fell in clumps.
Omarzai was the game-changer with the ball, picking up three key scalps, while Lamichhane and Embuldeniya spun a web through the middle and lower order.
Ramesh Mendis showed some resistance with 31, but the chase fizzled out at 176 in the 40th over.
