One of the few members who have registered their team so far. Hope this time, my team does some good and earn points. By the way, I've read that the pitch for the 3rd test is under-cooked and offer uneven bounce and even the ECB officials have "labelled" the pitch as poor. Seems spinners will come into play this time around.

This match might not go ahead, since the London riots have been extended to Birmingham, where this match will take place.

Here is some news about it:

Police in riot gear were also deployed in Birmingham city centre after scores of youths rampaged through the shopping area, smashing windows and looting from shops.

The England cricket team are currently based in Birmingham ahead of the third Test against India, which begins at Edgbaston on Wednesday.

BBC sports news reporter Joe Wilson said that nearby hotels had been advised to lock their doors.

He wrote on Twitter: "Helicopters circling over Bull Ring, about half mile from England hotel. Spoke to England head of security, confident all players safe."

India might pull out, because of safety concerns.

I guess I was right. Sehwag is out by a golden duck. :lol

And from the look of it I am not the only one with Broad as captain.

The first innings of India is pretty shocking. I didn't expect them to play that bad.

And England is already on 84 runs.

You get -15 points for Sehwag, since he is listed as an allrounder. Luckily Tendulkar didn't go out with a duck.

Somebody got Dhoni in his team?

Seems a few have lost faith in Cook/Strauss so that is my one plus. Those that have both like me don't seem to have Tendulkar/Dravid so need them to perform in the 2nd innings.

I didn't expect an England lead of 232 runs after only two days. Cook scored 182 runs and he is still not out. :noway I don't have him, so that's a problem.

Bell didn't do much this time and I don't expect him to see bat again. I'll be needing wickets from Kumar and Sharma.

In the SriLanka series, I had Cook as captain which fetched me lots of points

So, in the last 2 tests also, I had Cook in my team....captain as well....seeing his poor form.....didnt include him in my team for this test....there he is .....batting on 265....:rolleyes

Hmmmmmn. I think you should not have made that statement.
