"We have our squad. We like our squad. It's not the perfect one, because no squad is perfect, but it's one we like. We are ready for the market to close and for us to start Sept. 1 with this squad we have, minus one foreign player. That is compulsory. Unfortunately, that is compulsory. I cannot say this is our squad, because we need because of the rules to make a decision in relation to a foreign player."

Jose Mourinho not ruling out selling Fernando Torres of Chelsea amid AC Milan interest - ESPN FC

Wasn't even aware of this, the media were all over us about our trouble meeting the homegrown player rule, Chelsea though seem to have completely gone under the radar.

Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe is now a Norwich player. Apparently he's another one who was going to sign for Everton (like Fer) a few years ago but for whatever reason it didn't happen.

we were going to get him on loan for a year on deadline day. paperwork came in late.

for a while after officials were saying we expect it to go through on appeal and if not he'll join up with us in january.

neither happened and nothing else was ever said.

Burnley dominating United so far, can't believe they haven't got a goal yet.

A shock win for Stoke City at the Ethiad

And United pick up a vital point away to Burnley in their quest to avoid relegation :lol

Di Maria with some shocking touches, didn't look like himself. It's nothing to do with adapting imo, he had an alright game.

One of these days Mark Hughes was going to get one over on us...[DOUBLEPOST=0][/DOUBLEPOST]People still think Costa's a 1 season wonder and overrated? Judging a player's whole season on his form with his national team through 2 games in which he was not fully fit, pathetic.

Another load of crap from us yesterday. Good that we might be getting Blind...because right now our defence is Blind...

One of the worst injury lists I can remember at the start of a season for us doesn't help of course but that's no excuse.

And someone said we are the new Spurs. :lol
Moreno was by far the best left back this weekend all round. What a great goal to get that as a left back, he is a serious talent he is.
Ballotelli was troubling Lloris and happy that he gave his 110% out there, of course it'll take him a game or two to settle in with the style Liverpool play and once he hits his scoring form we will be unstoppable. The center back area is a concern though some lazy play by Sakho could've cost Spurs a goal or two, but the way Lovren recovers is amazing, he has just about the right pace as well. Gerrard well, been the defender who rescued Lovren and Sakho in this game with his perfectly timed tackles and clearances.
