Just got some songs off my friend and it seems that on the Ipod, half his songs are super loud, any one know a way to equalize all the songs to be at the same volume level?

I am not very sure about this, but I feel that different bit-rates could be a reason.

The 'Sound Check' option in iTunes doesn't work when the song is transferred to iPods does it?

I don't think that would affect the song volume though

That's what I said that I am not sure about it. I am a noob at it. :p
All I know about iPods is that songs have to be transferred from iTunes. ;)

I do have an iPod, but its quite awful, so its always in the case. :laugh
Its called the iPod shuffle.

There is a Sound Check option on my Ipod but it didn't work, after I checked them on Itunes and synced when the option was checked.
I don't think Itunes checked all the songs because it didn't have the complete number of songs when it said it was analyzing the songs
