Yeah i was! My grandparents gifted that for me all the way from India! If something happened to it they would be heartbroken!

Tusti ai 3.1, Indian 2gk ODI and test kit by fobstyle, Pakistan ODI kit by ?, Unique face patch, the ultimate roster, 4gb batpack, and indian unique faces, although that never works.

I'm going to suggest the following:
delete all .big, .fsh files from your root directory
Install the face pack
Install the bat pack
Run the game
Install the Indian faces
Install the kits
Run the game
Install the AI patch
Run the game

Tell me at which of the three points where you are running the game that it starts crashing.

I'd just uninstall all the patches you've installed. The easy way of fixing it.

You said everytime a wicket falls, did you played with every team or only Ind and Pak. If you had played with different teams and still the game crashes then i feel it is something wrong with Tusti ai 3.1.

Well deleting does uninstall them but I'm trying to help him discover what's causing the problem...

at the first point. I delibratly got rahul dravid out, and it crashed. I did not, however, take out the Pakistani kit, which is what i think is causing the problem.

yes! thanks to you all, i have cricket 2005 installed on my computer again. Thank you thank you thankyou!!!! I would have never known it was a problem on my CD and not something else. Thanks again!!!!

Thats good. I had the exactly same problem. I posted a forum about it but eventually got it fixed.
