I think Podolski should've played instead of Özil, who was utter tripe, apart from the assist. I think Löw will play Schweini instead of him in the next match.

I wish he hadn't rejected Juve. He would be a lot better than he is now. He had quite a bad first half of the season at Wolfsburg.
Italy played really impressively yesterday. Conte's tactics nullified Belgium's talent. I hope Italy and Germany face each other in the semis like last time.

I don't understand why Low keeps playing Gotze upfront. He wasted two crucial goal-scoring opportunities. Ozil was good in the second half but not effective enough to score a goal. Schweinsteiger & Gomez/Podolski should start. I hope Low realizes this as soon as possible. To end on a positive note, Hummels and Boateng made Lewandowski look like an amateur.

It was a night mare for English & Spain. Expected a lot more from these two sides. The great news for me is Belgium is playing brilliantly, i have been predicting them to win Euro's for more than two years.
