Fable 3

Best RPG ever has to be Diablo, amazing game! :)
Fable is pretty good too though

Personally I find the Final Fantasy series the best RPG's ever produced. And then I didn't even get the chance to play all the games (above Final Fantasy &), because they come only on selected platforms..

Exactly. They are the best RPG's ever produced.

I don't know how it is with Fable and Fallout, but the great thing about Final Fantasy is that there a lot of side missions. Only accomplishing these side missions cost a lot of time. Even if you play for three months with a game guide you can still can't achieve 100% status with Final Fantasy. That big is a Final Fantasy game. It's the same with the Grand Theft Auto games.

Whoever hasn't watched Final Fantasy VII Advent Children (it's a movie based on Final Fantasy 7 characters) really should do it.

You won't see action like that in any other animation movie.

Most RPGs are like that :p

Side missions and take a long time to complete 100%

Same with Fallout. Absolutely massive game world with near countless side missions.

Fallout 3 gave countless possibilities. There was a mission where you either save a town by diffusing a nuke or activate that nuke to blow up the town. If you diffuse it then you get more missions related to that town and if you blow it up then a businessman would give you further missions. There are a lot of similar dilemma's in the game.
I chose to nuke the town just for the fun of it :p Activated the nuke and then went to the businessman's tower. Saw the nuke going off from the top floor of the tower and then shot the businessman at point blank range :D

I'd still say Oblivion over Fallout but I love them both. If you think Fallout's gameworld is big then just play Oblivion. There are hundreds of side quests that you can do, loads of factions you can join etc.

I've played oblivion. Just couldn't finish the frigging game :p I'm perfectionist, so i tend to do each and every side quest before moving on to next one :D. I'd say, i played it for good 20 hours. Same is the case with witcher. RPG's which i have finished are: ME1,ME2,DragonAge,Fable,Rise Of Argonauts,Fallout . Never got enough time for witcher and Oblivion. :noway

I never tried Oblivion as I don't like the First Person Melee Combat idea but I have played and ended Fallout 3. Its one of my favorite games on 360.

Although not as good as the other names mentioned and in danger of turning this into an ad-hoc RPG thread; Borderlands is another very good one. Got it because it was pretty cheap and a friend nagged to do the multiplayer with him and I wasn't disappointed.

Borderlands would be very fun to do with a friend. It incorporates FPS and RPG elements well with the teamwork idea, which are 3 concepts in games I like. My friend has it on his PS3 and it's a real fun game. It does get kinda repetitive though.
