and groobz - since 99 WC India has been smashed by Aussies as you say, but before that India have run them pretty close - one or two victories and two losses by a single run and one by 16 runs...

Only one victory in 1983 not any other.
though we did run pretty close to them in the ones we lost by one run.
at gabba and mumbai.
