Guys, with all the patches makers out there I'm sure this one will not be soo hard to do.

Would it be possible to create a patch with proper field markings for ODI cricket. I know the restrictions apply but if you have ever placed a fielder on the edge of the ring at point in custom field settings, he is virtually placed on the boundary in the game.

Barmy, would it be possible if not to have the markings, to perhaps at least ADJUST the restriction circle mathematically so we can avoid this problem of fielders being 3/4 to the boundary yet supposedly within the 30 metre restriction circle?

You can try placing them using the field editor. There is also a byte somewhere is the .sav that determines whether there are fielding restrictions at all.
