As I walked home from Belle Vue after tonight's game I knew nothing of what was about to happen, it was a Wednesday night, I was in a good mood after the events of the match and I was in the form of my life! I had scored 12 goals in my past 10 games including a brace tonight, I was Rhyl FC's number 16, my career had gone through some ups and downs in the 3 years i've been at the club, I played 73 games (22 as sub) and scored 48 goals. I went through a tough run of 11 games without a goal before a double and an assist saved my place in the team. Wrexham FC have made countless offers for me but as it would involve moving I really didn't want to. My dream is to play for either Cardiff or Swansea and try to get one of them promoted and play Premier League football. I'm hoping that my form this season will get me interest from one of the clubs. I am a hard working Centre Forward for Rhyl, born and bred in the area. And with 3 games to go this season Rhyl are 2nd with 72 points, 2 points behind TNS in 1st, so I need to win the league and Welsh Cup then see who will sign me.

he should give it up while he is still young and try out for a county team to play a real spot :p

What do you know Mark, btw this will be a Be a Pro: Seasons story on FIFA 10 for Xbox 360.

Tierney Out For Rest of Season
THURSDAY 9 APRIL 2010
Rhyl FC's wonderkid Kiko Tierney is out for Rhyl FC's remaining few games with a torn calf muscle. He picked up the injury running for a rebound in during their win yesterday and a scan shown that the worst fears were a reality, he scored 2 goals in that 3-1 win over Aberystwyth and he said he felt it in the latter stages of the match. Kiko is in a great run of form with 12 goals in his last 10 matches and was proving vital in Rhyl FC's title run in but this setback could prove costly as they play leaders TNS on Sunday, a must win game that will leave Rhyl 1 point clear with 2 to play, anything but that can see TNS clinch the title at Bangor next Friday. Rhyl are also in the Welsh Cup final where they will play 3rd place contenders Airbus in Caernarfon in 4 weeks time, a match Tierney will be racing to be fit for. Rhyl's player manager Greg Strong has this to say. "It is a terrible loss for the team, we need a goalscorer like him in the team at the moment, he has been crucial to the run in with his quality in front of goal, he gives goalkeepers nightmares if he's on the teamsheet and if he's not scoring, he's part of the goal somehow, his overall presence is enough to keep a defender and the manager occupied for 90 minutes. We can't comment on the injury fully yet, Kiko is distraught as he knows it's his season over, we may risk him for the cup tie if he's fit enough as he's raring to play whenever he can.
It has also been rumoured that Coca Cola Championship clubs Cardiff City and Plymouth Argyle have been holding talks with the player about a possible move. A Rhyl FC spokesperson has neither confirmed or denied this.

Bluebirds Make Offer for Wonderkid

After rumours on Thursday, Rhyl FC have confirmed that Cardiff City have been in talks with the club about signing 19 year old wonderkid Kiko Tierney. They haven't just been in talks, both clubs have announced that an undisclosed bid has been made. Tierney has been in top form as late for Rhyl with 12 goals in his last 10 games, but injury on Wednesday night has ended Kiko's season and could be his last game at the club. The move could be a valueable one for Rhyl as financial troubles have put the club close to losing their Welsh Premier League status as of next season so some money from this move will be top of the agenda. It is rumoured already that Rhyl have accepted the offer and negotiations between Cardiff and the player are underway, if a deal is agreed then a clause in Kiko's contract says he can join up at the end of a Welsh season so he can join up in May in time for the end of the Championship season.

Interesting start here Kiko, what you could do though is add in a few pictures like team badges for instance just so it gives the reader something else to look at other than just text. However, I do like the storyline and it can be easily developed into a thriller! :)

Thanks for the suggestion, been busy and may update this week.
