game crashes

HI,
Can somebody help me.
the game crashes at the beginning with the loading screen which comes just after the official logos are shown.

My pc configuration is

-Intel 810e motherboard
-Pentium III 500 MHs
-128 Mb Sd ram
- 10 gb hard disk
-Win 98se
-Directx 8.1

Will the run on my computer? If yes, how?

Please help me...

I have a similar system:

AOpen AX63 Pro Motherboard
551mhz Intel Pentium 3
392mb SDRAM
NVidia Geforce4 128mb DRR Ram videocard
80gig Western Digital + 10gig Samsung harddrive
WinXP Pro
DirectX 9

and the game works fine on medium settings.....

i was just assuming that because ive read alot of other people complaining that they cant get the game to work, and they had similar hardware to that. Maybe its just a luck of the draw

how can i check what my pc consists of, is there a way of finding out?

there is file ez or something similar in the c2k4 folder
it will give u ur machines specs n whether it is within the minimum specs required or not
