Game Running Slow in Windows 7

Hi everyone
I used to play ashes 2009 before the server went down for beta patch
i never faced any kind of problem
At that time i was running my game on Windows Vista
Now i made my mind that i would install the game and start playing again
then i finally installed it
and decided to play a match
i saw tht my game is running very slow
i don't know why
No hardware change has been done
all drivers are installed ( latest release )
What should i do
Windows 7 has Direct X 11 installed
does this has to do anything with my game being slow ?
Please help !

Are you using the betas? This was fixed by them.

no
i am not using the beta patch as i want to play online
in vista
without or with beta
in both forms
game was smooth

me too facing same prob sunny
when u install beta patch u cant play online bt it fixes win 7 waiting /loading time n when u r widout it den face the waiting time on win 7
when u start game it takes 3 mins when u finish the match up it takes another min.

i have installed beta 1 and
it works wonders
so smooth
but
no online play
can anyone help with this ?

Must have a high end system to make game run smoother or get a PS3 or fund codemasters to release the patch or play with the crowd - off.

i m using nvidia 9600 GT
what else i should buy
in vista it was working fine
but i think its too much to adjust

Try using Game Booster and set high priority to the game in the task manager.

maybe some graphics driver problem. I have updated to Catalyst 9.12 drivers and got a lot of improvement in other games. But in ashes i now have random stutters and when i try to record a video of game using Fraps, it records it in fast forward mode. But if i convert the video to another format using software, then it is at normal speed

It's just a problem with the out-the-box game on high-end systems.

can it be solved by any kind of tweaking
like catching some content from the beta patch
and then implementing it on the original
so tht atleast it works smooth

Apparently running windows media player with a song on loop in the background fixes it too. I've not tried.

Sunny Nvidia 9600 is not the latest card. No doubt you will be able to play Ashes but not on Full Reso and AA

Please upgrade your Graphic card.

I have windows 7 installed and i have ATI 4870 and it runs smooth.
BTW games loads slow in Windows 7..Thats normal

i didn't said i have the latest card
i said i have the latest drivers installed for my card
anyways
after the beta update game runs smooth
tht means card is not the problem
