Ganguly Gilchrist Trophy, 2013.
Few of you might have known about it- yes it is a yearly tournament, a three 50 over match series between the winners of Australian T20 Domestic Championship, the KFC Big Bash League and the winners of Indian T20 Domestic Championship, the DLF Indian Premier League. The Deccan Chargers have won it 5-0 against the New South Wales Blues in the 2009 edition, but the Victoria Bushrangers have white washed the Chennai Super Kings 3-0 at their own backyard. 2011 Edition was stopped right in the mid stage, when Royal Challengers Bangalore were on prime form. 2012 edition was sealed by Sydney Sixers- beating Kolkata Knight Riders 3-0. The teams which have qualified this season are the Brisbane Heat from BBL and Mumbai Indians from IPL.
