GeForce FX 5500 HELP please

I have been following these forums for quite a while now and I still haven't found a solution to my problem. As for the problem, here it is.

I have a GeForce FX 5500 PCI card. Because the recommended cards included 5200 and 5600, I thought 5500 would work. Well, it doesn't. Even after following the instructions on the sticky threads, I haven't made any good progress.

Please let me know how I can improve gameplay. As a desperate measure, would Overclocking help?
