The CPU pacing files named 1day10.cfg, 1day20.cfg, and 1day50.cfg
have had changes made to them described below.

The batsman aggression has now been reversed.
AGGRESSIVE = 0
NORMAL = 1
DEFENSIVE = 2

This in affects the entrieuqin these tables.

The files now read like so.

StrokeProb 1 5 0
Def 0
Mod 0
Agg 60732
Six 65536
StrokeProb 1 5 1
Def 0
Mod 0
Agg 54176
Six 65536
StrokeProb 1 5 2
Def 0
Mod 0
Agg 48496
Six 55052

StrokeProb "1" 5 2 "means the inning"
StrokeProb 1 "5" 2 "means the phase of the game"
StrokeProb 1 5 "2" "means batsman style"

So the values from the StrokeProb 1 5 "0" were exchanged to the StrokeProb 1 5 "2"

ONLY THE 1day10.cfg, 1day20.cfg and 1day50.cfg have had this done.

Keep trying sam, this is really encouraging news. You must be so close to cracking this. Any chance you can let us know how you've got this far, maybe even going into detail regarding the hex editing?

great work sam

at last some clue as to what the StrokeProb values mean- this may prove useful if you can get access to the configs

I wonder how the Stroke Prob values 0 0 0, 0 1 0, 0 2 0 etc.etc fit into the logic?

I will be starting work this week on a file (seems like cricket game sites call everything patches) for the new HighHeat game animations for the fourth year running, so I'll be spending my time on that but I can't understand Sam why you won't shed some light on file formats so that others can help you crack this. I'd be glad of help from anywhere to try and get it cracked.
Anyway good luck with it.

ian,
stay in touch with this site, mate.
Good luck with your High Heat project :) .
