No refuelling. Good or bad?

Hamilton on pole and a perfect oppurtunity to win his first home grand prix and more importantly increase the gap over the chasing pact. It will be difficult though as both the Ferraris are looking good for the race and Alonso if luck is on his side can trouble as well.

There are rumours circulating that Alonso might return to Renault, although there has been no official confirmation on this. I personally wouldnt like to see that happen as the French team looks quite off the pace at the moment.

Oh my my...Raikkonen wins again. After all those chants about Ferrari's demise and Raikkonen not living up to his hype seems to have been well buried now.

Hamilton's lead also reduces to 12 points and more importantly, the championship race is now looking to be a four horse one. Ferrari definately have the better race car. But has Hamilton already gone too far ahead to be caught?

No Schumi this season but it has been probably one of the best I've seen ever.

Well done to Kimi back luck to Hamilton, maybe next year!!

Still, Hamilton has a decent lead, hopefully he will hold off Ferrari, but there is a long way to go yet.

Yeh i hope he does...the first england success since...??

Ahh yes, well the next Damon Hill maybe on the way, after such a large gap!!

THis race has to be red flagged! Terrible start, horrible weather and the cars are aquaplanning at the first corner and there are about 6 cars there, a STR almost hit a tractor.

Ludicrous!

Hamilton managed to keep his engine running!!!
The sun is out!!!
this is a shambles, Winkelhock winning on his debut!!!
CRAZY

Race restart now. So they start from the grid, I'm not sure if it's in race positions or from grid positions....

Well it definately was one of the best races I can remember for a long long time. A debutant leading the race in a Spyker, all those cars running offtrack in similar fashion, and Ferrari's race going from good to bad to worse.

Massa was denied a win by the rain in the end but kudos to Alonso for making a superb overtaking move. Tough luck for Raikkonen once again as he loses his third place in the championship to Massa. And what a fine performance it was from Mark Webber!

It was one of the best races I've seen in Formula 1.

Massa was denied a win by his tyres going off more than the rain. Same conditions for everyone.

Kimi and the Nurb really don't go together do they!

Kimi once again had bad luck, he was looking good for a win. At the last pitstop for intermediates Mclaren did some wing adjustments and Ferrari didn't maybe that was the turning point.

If you give Webber a decent car he would rival the top racers but he cant find a vehicle with reliability. Lewis Hamilton is a brilliant driver and I just wish he was around when Michael Schumacher was racing, watching them compete against each other would of been spectacular
