Hardly, he's played a quality innings. The six he hit was good, and the two back foot drives off Munaf were world class.
Yeah, but the edge off Munaf (or agarkar?) that went about an inch higher than Sehwags fingers and the edge through an empty slip cordren off Kumble.
And when Sourav lost the ball against the crowd on an easy catch.
Good innings on the whole.

Hemp is really playing well dont think it is luck
It's down to his skill and bad bowling by India
Game Over
156 All Out

Finally! That took 41 overs, but we're tied for the largest margin for victory right?-Nevermind we got it by one run!

Won't largest victory margin mean a better gained net run rate than Sri Lanka vs Bermuda.

No, we have the record for the biggest ODI win (its 257 runs). The previous one was 256 runs (as said by sohum somewhere!).

Good job guys! Huge victory! Who will be man of match?

I think they might give it to Sehwag, but Yuvraj is the actual man of the match for that brutal innings!

I just wished that Hemp got his hundred , he really deserve that . then also what a knock from him :clap

NRR is +2.507
Is it gud enuff

I think its quite good enough. the run rates of Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are sure to fall after the game that they play against each other. I think if Sri Lanka fall below India's run rate after that game, India just need to beat SL to get to the Super 8's. If Sri Lanka are above India's net run rate, I think Bangladesh's run rate will fall by quite some margin.

So we are in a much better position now with this huge victory! Thats what I feel!

We gained more NRR but overall we have a lower one than SRL because they have only played one (easy) game.

I think I'm going to hope that Sri Lanka get a huge victory against Bangladesh. Although how would that change confidence around. :p Confusing.

With such bowling, its not enough against not only against Lankans but against any top quality side... we need to work a lot & lots in bowling department! Anyways, it was good win but not a great win in my opinion.

I saw somewhere that SRL's RR was like 1.8 or something-Sure to go somewhat down against Bangla!
And Sai congratulations on 5k posts

Srilanka vs Bangladesh will be a crutial one :D i m just eager to see what kind of advantages can Bangla hve when they will face Bermuda :)
