BAN are being murdered by SRL.They are 54/5 after 22 overs and are well set for a 150+ runs defeat. It would be a cracking Super 8, if IND and SRL both manage to get through. All 8 teams capable of beating each other (yes that includes Ireland too).

WOW, Vaas is reall class.(yea like that one ) the line and length he keeps is absolutely amazing puts him up there with the best bowlers in the world and he will also be leaving cricket after the cup, another great gone.

saisrini- in this world cup Sri lankas bowling has been better than Indias, but trying to figure which one of the 2 sides is better is really hard as both sides are playing their best cricket.

India are not playing their best cricket yet! Still they have been beating Sri Lanka in recent times and look very much the World Cup contenders. India would be playing their best cricket when Pathan gets back his usual form with the ball and Sehwag repeating the feat against Bermuda consistently against other bigger nations!

Dont you (Indian fans) think that we should have Pathan for the next match? This is the second match where the rain and the clouds have been murking over the game. The bowlers have been getting very good movement in both the games so far (India vs Bermuda and Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh).

I think Dravid should take the gamble of bringing in Irfan Pathan (not for a bowler, but for a batsman, Uthappa being the best option). If Pathan doesnt click, we still have 4 bowlers to do the job and the part timers to back up. If he clicks, we will give ourselves a tremendous chance to beat the Sri Lankans

Will Lanka win by 200 runs??? Quite possible, I think! Bangladesh are now actually playing like Bangladesh. They didnt play themselves against India. This is more like how they usually play! India were unfortunate not to play the 'real' Bangladesh side!

I think the top order of Sri Lanka will make the difference in the Ind v SL game, if Jayasuriya clicks then the game can go out of the reach of India in a blink of an eye, whereas getting him early can give India real hope.

You're right Drew. Although the same can be said of India if Sehwag fires even though that's a rarity these days.

I remember 2-3 weeks ago u said that Pathan shouldn't be in the WC team.Now what has changed your views about him. :
I want him in the team he gives flexibility to the line up.Also Sreesanth should be there.Whenever team is down with confidence he can lift them up in the field.He gives his 100% always.

Why not? Jayasuriya is one of the few openers who can totally destroy a team in 10 overs.
